We hope that you have seen the latest news that The Book Outlet was recently awarded Grade A Bookstore Readers’ Choice in a poll conducted by The Aurora Sentinel.
In addition, the Mayor and City Council will honor the Friends and their efforts with a Proclamation naming the week of October 21 to October 27, 2012 as Friends of the Aurora Public Library Week. This proclamation will be presented to the Board of Trustees of the Friends at the City Council meeting on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 7:30 in the City Council Chambers. Please join us for this very special recognition event.
During this first ever extraordinary week, the Friends will have a special display and membership drive in the Central Branch of the Aurora Public Library. So if you have family, neighbors, colleagues or friends that aren’t already Members of the Friends of the Aurora Public Library, tell them to get their fully tax deductible membership between 10 am and 2 pm from Monday, October 22 to Saturday, October 27th and get some great benefits with their membership.
