The Friends of the Aurora Public Library Board is seeking applicants for the position of Treasurer. This positon is responsible for the collection and disbursement of all Friends’ monies, prepares monthly income and expense reports and balance sheets for the Board and a financial statement for the Member’s annual meeting. The Treasurer is also responsible for filing monthly city taxes and quarterly Colorado taxes. In addition, the treasurer prepares the Form 990 to be submited to the IRS each year. Knowledge of Quicken financial accounting software is preferred.
