In 2017 with our support, the Library hosted over 1,800 free programs with over 111,000 attendees – all with the help of financial support from you and the Friends of the Aurora Public Library. These are programs that would not be possible without your help and are outlined in the Library’s quarterly Program Guide – The Resource!
Colorado Gives Day: For the sixth consecutive years, the Friends of the Aurora Public Library have participated in COLORADO GIVES DAY in December of each year. This one day event is very important for the Friends as with about $2,000 to $4,000 in donations in recent years! This helps us achieve our mission of providing direct financial donations for the great programs and services of the Aurora Public Libraries!
You can also make one time donations or on-going scheduled donations at any time during the year through the COLORADO GIVES DAY website.
Each participating non-profit must complete a comprehensive profile that describes their mission and how they accomplish it. It includes information about all aspects of each non-profit. See our extensive profile.
Financial Donations Directly to the Friends: If you prefer to make your donation in person, please place it in the DONATION BOX located at the front registers of The Book Outlet during our regular business hours. You can also mail a donation check directly to our offices at Friends of the Aurora Public Library, 2243 S Peoria St, Aurora, CO 80014. Please do not send cash.
