Follow-up to the Hundred Dollar cake

Remember the found Hundred Dollar Cake recipe? Well, our good friend Denise made it! (sorry it was just too good, so this is the best picture we had) — and check out what our friends thought the cake was worth in today’s dollars.

The recipe was developed during WWII, when many foods (like eggs) were rationed.

Miracle Whip was introduced at the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair.
