Friends is a nonprofit organization, governed by a Board of Directors dedicated to the mission of supporting the Aurora Public Library and to celebrating the lifetime joys of reading. Board meetings are open to the public. If you’re interested in learning more about serving on the Board of Directors, we’ve included information and contacts below. Or come see us in action at one of the board meetings. They are open to everyone.
Board meetings are currently being held at the Central Library, 14949 E Alameda Pkwy, in the small conference room monthly at 1 pm on the second Monday of the month.
The President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are elected positions, all others are appointed and approved by the board.
